Main Street Buffet

This is the one 'hole in the wall' restaurant that we've been searching for, for many years. When I say good food, I mean this meal was the best food I've put in my face since I left my momma's house over forty years ago. Nothing on that buffet was anything less than excellent! Fantastic country kitchen cooking and you could sincerely tell that these people cook with love. I've eaten at hundreds if not thousands of places across the U.S. during my time as a million mile truck driver and this place was way above anywhere else. You better believe that I'll be back.

Loved this place! Sunday buffet. Fried fish was delicious. Fried chicken was great. Pinto Beans were fantastic. Green beans were seasoned perfect. So much more food you must give it a try if you like home cooking! Price was so reasonable about 14.00 for all you can eat! Atmosphere was all local and we love to eat where the locals eat! Very crowded. Service was excellent! Server was working fast and hard! If you like home cooking at a great price then look no further! Food so good!

Comfort food. Best fried chicken I've had in a long time. Mashed potatoes were also good. Buffet meal for 2 was under $35. Waitress was friendly.

Food was fine. Everything was cooked well and served with attention. The location is obviously a local favorite, which is heartening to see. The meat selections were prepared to perfection. The roast beef, fried chicken, and fried fish were each well seasoned, fully cooked without being overcooked, and a nice treat. The side items were mostly pretty standard for a buffet. The rice pudding was a bit drier than I like and didn't have much for raisins or other additions, though the rice was of a decent texture and flavor was good. Small dining space can get quite loud with all of the open conversations.

We discovered their amazing catfish and can't get enough, we pickup takeout about twice a month (or more).
