Lux Cafe | Best Southern Cuisine

We were immediately greeted by the lovely Ms. Lo! I picked Lux Cafe because it had such rave reviews. This place is absolutely worth the hype! We had the crawfish omelette, Banana French toast and a breakfast plate and it was delicious. The potatoes are SO good. We also had a strawberry and Nutella cream which was to die for! The orange juice is freshly squeezed, and that was so delicious and fresh! Can’t say enough great things about this place. It is a must for anyone that loves great breakfast and great service.

I recently visited Lux Cafe early in the morning, and it was a pleasant experience. There wasn’t a crowd at all, which made for a relaxed and easy start to the day. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The menu offers a solid number of options, so there’s something for everyone. I decided on the Belgian waffles topped with berries and whipped cream, along with eggs and home fries. The waffle itself was a bit tough, but still enjoyable overall. One feature was the hot syrup they offer. Pricing is very affordable, especially for the portion sizes and overall quality. I also appreciated that you place your order and pay up front. We must have come after a big rush because the restaurant and staff seemed frazzled. The place wasn’t very clean and just seemed a bit chaotic. We ordered the shrimp po-boy and this was really good. Loved the seasoning and fry of the shrimp and the mayo served with the sandwich was amazing. I wish there has been less bread; too much bread to shrimp ratio and the sandwich had more mayo on it. The fries served weren’t house made but they were coated and tasty. Also had wings with onion rings. Both didn’t taste like they were made in house. The wings had a great coating and were fried really well. Onion rings also good, fried well and very straight forward. I would go back and order something else next time.

From the moment we entered everyone was so nice! Food was incredible and the stuffed banana foster is a must. Just a warning - a tad bit of a wait because you order waiting in line - but soooo worth it

The food was so good. We ordered the crab egg Benedict, the crawfish omelette, the meat lovers omelette, and the Philly cheese steak. It was all delicious. Lo was our server and took the best care of us. We'd definitely come back.
