LUNCH Sandwich Shop

We had the Pisa, Portofino, and the Firenze. The Chocolate chips cookie for dessert. The bread was amazing, taste of each sandwich was outstanding. Definitely will be going back there and I will be telling everyone how amazing these sandwich were. Jack one of the owners is absolutely the sweetest person too. Everyone needs to try this Sandwich place the food is excellent.

We loved everything about our visit, especially talking with the owner about the food, her inspiration, and where else to visit. As former owners of a mom & pop sandwich shop, we were extra curious. If you’ve been to All’Antico Vinaio you will be even happier with the sandwiches here. You’ll find nothing like them anywhere else in New Orleans. Mmmmmmm. My favorite was the Positano, but sadly I didn’t get a picture of it. (Oh, well, we’ll just have to visit again!) Minimal outdoor seating, but there’s a bar next door to round things out.

Absolutely phenomenal sandwiches from someone who truly gets it. A slice of Italian New York jimmied into a neighborhood you wouldn’t expect it to be in. Everything we had was amazing - the Portofino and Venetian were the crowd favorites but everything was fantastic.

Sandwiches are absolutely superb! You would think a sandwich is just a sandwich, but these are something else. The bread is incredible. I had the Venetian with a great combo of soppressata, provolone, and pickled onions. Kudos!!!

Came to NOLA for work and was looking for something fresh, delicious, and as close to a homemade meal as possible, and this is exactly what I found. The sandwich, made with freshly baked bread and high-quality ingredients, created such a nostalgic Italian experience (my family is from Italy). There are few places in the world that can truly encapsulate that feeling, and “Lunch” was one of them. The owner was kind enough to take my order before opening and had my sandwich ready to go by the time I arrived. Watching her slice tomatoes, personally answer the phone to take orders while prepping food, and genuinely care about going above and beyond for every single customer was something truly special and unique.
