Luigetta's of Hollidaysburg

They give you plenty of food at a decent price. I got the cold sub which was good, but they need to buy better lunch meat. It was a bit salty. My wife got the marinated beef in which she really liked. I would get the salad mixture on the side, but it was delicious. Sorry for the bad pictures.

Blair county is known for several things. Luigetta’s salad is one of them. Outsiders question it. It’s just lettuce and tomato they say, but it’s more. The dressing makes it memorable. If you are from the Altoona section then maybe you are loyal there, from the Hollidaysburg section then maybe you are loyal there. Either way come for the salad. Always, always get it on the side. The menu in Hollidaysburg is more vast and you can grab some jars of dressing to take home with you but once you’ve had it you’ll never forget it. The building sits on the corner of the historic district near the tracks and is small and homey. Portions are a nice size for the price and you can get something for everyone, even if you don’t want the salad.

Called to place an order for pickup 50 minutes before close. They answered and after I said id like to place an order for pickup they sat the phone down and did not answer I obviously hung up and tried to call again but the phone was left on so the line went stright to busy. Im coming in right before close and ordering. 🤷🏻‍♂️🥱 UPDATE:: They completely messed up my order we ordered 2 burgers and neither of them were made right to what we paid for or requested. The large salad had 3 tomatoes in it.

Food was banging. Came out nice and hot. Good sized portions .def fresh. Staff was super sweet .

Everything about this place is fantastic. Food and hospitality is straight up fresh only problem is I really wish I could get out there more often
