Customer Reviews
I was referred here by a friend of mine because he knows I’m an Italian lady who loves the food of my people. My girlfriend, her daughter and I really enjoyed the intention and thought put into this delectable cuisine, all the way down to the owner (Stefano) pan frying the gnocchi to give it that extra crisp. In case you were wondering, I got the gnocchi bolognese and it was divine. The owner even gave us a sample of the gyro because I expressed interest in it. Top tier if you’re looking for some quick authentic Italian food in Ellijay. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
You need to try this place. The food is great, it's fresh, and prepared with TLC. We had potato salad (like Mom used to make), tomato bisque with homemade croutons, the Vintage Chicago Dog (looks AND tastes great), and Tortellini Pesto (generous and fresh made). We will have to go back to try the pizza and Caprese Insalada. Thanks, Lucky Stephano!
Lucky Stefano’s is by far some of the best food we’ve had in the area. Ordered the bolognese and took the owner’s recommendation to try the new meat sauce. It was absolutely incredible. Rich, comforting, and clearly made with care. I went with the meatball sub, and my only complaint is that I didn’t order two. Perfectly seasoned meatballs, great bread, and generous portions. Warm hospitality, thoughtful recommendations, and food that is amazing. This place has become a must-stop for the family every time we are in town
I ordered this for our Christmas lunch at work. And it was absolutely fantastic. We got the meat Lasagna. It was just absolutely delicious. I ended up taking someone else's order. So had more than a 15 pound Lasagna on my hands. For four people, but that worked out well because I just took it all home and lived on it for like 3 days and it was just delicious. It was a happy little mistake.
We felt welcomed and excited to try this place! Something new in the area was a fresh way to spend the afternoon. The food was fresh and the variety on the menu made it so hard to choose what sounded best! Stefano was welcoming and we felt the excitement and passion in his voice when talking with us. We will be back for sure. :)
