The Sharp Sickle Ellijay

Being GF is HARD! When I saw that the The Sharp Sickle is a dedicated Gluten Free Coffee House & Bakery - excited was an understatement. I finally made it up there today! I ordered the Turkey Basil Pesto sandwich on the spicy Italian bread (not pictured because I ate it so fast) Turkey, Basil Pesto, Mozzarella, Avocado & Spinach - it was so delicious! The bread was warm, light and soft! Best GF bread I’ve ever had. Pictured is the Raspberry Lemon Bread and the Raspberry matcha! Both were perfect! But my favorite thing about the place is that they love Jesus! The staff is kind, the worship music is on, and the WIFI password is Psalm 91. Whether you are Gluten Free or not - this place in Downtown Ellijay is worth a visit!

This coffee shop is amazing! I stopped in today and tried their “Trinity” drink, and honestly, I haven’t enjoyed coffee this much in quite some time. It’s also the perfect hangout spot. They even have a section in the back for kids to play. As a mom, places like this are rare and so special. I can’t wait to go back!

New spot, super welcoming set up. Focused on gluten-free options. Grand opening Feb 21st. Offering bible study sessions soon. Located where the Amish furniture store used to be. Great addition to the town of Ellijay.

My husband & I stopped in for the first time. Very friendly staff and welcoming. He got an iced dirty chai which he said was very good. I got just a regular coffee with steamed half& half. Coffee ok a bit strong for me & that was the medium roast. I am not vegan or gluten free & generally find those foods bland. But not so here, I got a lemon raspberry loaf slice with fresh raspberry. Absolutely delicious!! Can’t wait to have family come down for a visit as my stepdaughter is gluten free. Thank you for coming to Ellijay

We came here because me and my kids are gluten-free. It’s always nice to find a place that is dedicated gluten-free and safe to eat at. We got the coffee cake filled with icing in the middle and the brown sugar cinnamon roll. Both of which once we heated them up, we’re really soft and really good. Super, super sweet, but it’s to be expected! They were very good. The kids got hot chocolate and they said it was good. I got a café mocha and the espresso is definitely a lighter roast than I’m used to and has more of a sour after taste. I didn’t enjoy the espresso flavor. The mocha syrup was good. I didn’t get to try any of the lunch items or other food items but what we had was very good in the atmosphere is really cute. I hope they do well! Nice to have this option. Thank you for the gluten-f
