Definitely a very nice small-town bakery. The shop is bright and colorful, and the staff was super friendly. There are gluten-free options, and everything we tried was tasty. The peanut butter marshmallow cake was sweet but delicious, and the cinnamon roll—although slightly burnt on the bottom—was still amazing, especially warmed up. The highlight was the cinnamon coffee cake. Highly recommend grabbing it warm. A cozy, welcoming spot worth stopping by.
Visited this little bakery and they were supposed to be closed but ended being open. Such a nice surprise! The owner served us and chatted with us when we complimented the decor. Such a cute space and the tea room was lovely. I could resist getting the lemon bar. It was magical and I enjoyed every bite!
Elijay on Saturday morning is a little sleepy, with only one or two of its many retail options opening before 10am . But not A Little Baked Bakery. They are up and at ‘em! The shop is bright and welcoming, as was the owner who greeted me warmly. There are a few curated gift shop items to browse but it’s the bakery case that is the star! Just enough choice to make you curious but not so many offerings as to overwhelm. This was my first visit to Ellijay, and I stumbled across this slightly hidden gem. If you head north out of the Downtown Square down N. Main St., you'll find the classy looking white and blue building. Once inside, you enter a world of delicious tidbits, morsels, and tasty bites. Being that this was my first visit, I had to try the very popular pecan bar. I also decided to try one of the cute churro cupcakes. The owners, Jennifer and Charity, we're friendly and welcoming. They greeted me as soon as I entered their shop, and they graciously answered all of my questions. As I was getting ready to depart, I noticed that they also have a large tea room for private parties. It looks like the perfect atmosphere for a British high tea with Victorian looking décor. Needless to say, if I find
The cupcakes are amazing!!! Great size and balance of frosting! Just right!
