I’m a big pho fan and I always get frustrated when restaurants play cheap with the broth, salty and simple with little true herb flavors. Usually one can tell how fresh the broth is by whether there’s a layer of animal fat floating on top. And this one certainly does. It tastes so fresh and rich (with subtle herb factors) and one of the best pho broth I’ve ever tasted in town!!! High recommended.
The calamari is on point 👌 and this wonton egg noodle soup is sooooooo goooood. Service is quick and friendly. Everything i've tried here has been phenomenal 🔥.
The place you drive by and never go to was that place for a late lunch today. The facade and interior do not match at all. The inside far exceeds the appearance from the street. So glad I stopped in. Friendly service. Diverse menu. Reasonable prices. Killer mural on the back wall.
Lotus Pond Vietnamese Cuisine is absolutely amazing! We came in right before closing, and they were kind enough to fit us in without rushing us. The service was truly a 10/10, warm, attentive, and welcoming. The food came out quickly, piping hot, and bursting with authentic flavor. I ordered the chicken pho, and it was hands down the best pho I've had in Seattle so far. I'm originally from Atlanta, which has a large Asian community with many great restaurants, and Lotus Pond absolutely holds its own. The broth was rich and fragrant, the chicken tender, and I loved dressing it up with extra limes and all the delicious sauces they provide. Every accessory, from the fresh herbs to the condiments, was just perfect. If you enjoy coffee, do yourself a favor and get the Vietnamese coffee here.
Lotus Pond ---service was good but the food not so much. Lotus Pond's location is central with plenty of parking around the restaurant. The service was friendly and efficient . Orders came out fast. The food flavor and quality was definitely less than I'm used to in the Portland area. The goi đu đủ was too sweet and not flavorful. The bò la lot was good and probably the best item ordered. The Phở dac biet broth was not good and too salty. Other items ordered were just mediocre at best. Prices were very reasonable. Handicap doable. Final take---again good service but food was less good.
