Los Rancheros

Food and service was great! Love the atmosphere too.

The drinks were made wrong and the shrimp is cooked like a crayfish boil! Not worth time or money! How does a peach sangria not have peaches in it when the menu stated it did....? Update2023: chips and salsa was perfect and food was decent they fries were under cooked tho but the rest was good!

Usually really great food, but sometimes drop the ball. This unfortunately happens more than occasionally. They didn't put the black beans in my Ranchero Fajitas again; last time this happened I called, and the lady said they "don't have black beans" - not that they ran out, just that they don't have them. I told her that they're listed in the menu item description, and this wasn't mentioned at checkout when we came to pick up the order. She reiterated that they don't have them. This hasn't changed on the menu, and the last time we ordered it (different day) it was made right. Was not mentioned again tonight. Also, the menu shown online has only one option for guacamole at $5.99, but apparently it's $5.99 for a small guacamole and "$10 for the large size" (said the lady at the pick-u

All in all we had a great meal. Service could have been better. We felt like we were forgotten about a couple times. But the food was pretty good. They are in the middle of a remodel but it is still looks and feels clean. I thought 10$ for queso was high for the amount we received. 75$ for three dinners with No alcohol. 😳.

I come from northern Illinois where we have a Los Rancheros in Dekalb that is very good so I was drawn to this one while traveling for work. The atmosphere is very friendly and welcoming. I ordered the Rancheros Cheesesteak and my coworker ordered the massive burrito in the picture. Both dishes were phenomenal. The staff were attentive to us and kept us satisfied the whole experience. Me and my co-worker are both extremely impressed with this restaurant. If you’re looking for quality authentic Mexican food and friendly faces, this is the place.
