Blessings on State Bed & Breakfast

Blessings is truly an 10 out of 5 stars! This was our third; but, far from last visit! Here is our note to Gwenn/Glenn, Casey and Kelly.||Again, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay with you! As repeat visitors, every visit brings new discoveries and deepens the memories and friendships we are developing with all of you! The hospitality Glenn and Casey extend to us, along with Kelly’s amazing chef-prepared breakfasts and treats are sure to keep us coming back for many years to come! You leave no stone in turned, from amazing foods, warm cookies left each evening before we retire, soft piano playing in the drawing room and the essence of being in an amazing mansion home make us eager to return again and again. We will see you, again, soon!

We stayed here celebrating our 49th anniversary and Veterans Day. The home is beautiful and very comfortable. Our hosts Glenn and Kelly were very friendly and accommodating. We would love to go back someday

Our stay here was so lovely. It's such a beautiful house located in a really neat area full of historical mansions. The owners are so nice and attentive, and the breakfast was amazing. Plus, the town of Jacksonville is a hidden gem. There are lots of really cool things to do in town. We really wish we had stayed for longer than just one night!

This was the sweetest and most friendliest bed and breakfast I have ever been to! So comfortable… peaceful and just the right place for me to feel decompressed. Inkeepers Gwenn and Glenn were so attentive and truly cared about my experience staying at their Bed and Breakfast. I will absolutely be back. Even if just to connect with Gwenn and Glenn!! I stayed 2 nights at Blessings while I had some business in the area and wow was I spoiled rotten! From the minute I stepped in the door of this beautiful historic home I was treated like royalty. Gwenn has thought of EVERYTHING to make her guests feel pampered. The rooms are tastefully decorated and comfortable, the bath products are luxurious, and the bed sheets are the best I have ever slept on! Around 9:00pm there was a knock on my door as warm cookies and milk were delivered! After a good nights sleep, I was treated to a gourmet breakfast served on fine china at a small table by the window. The food was so yummy that I requested the recipes. So instead of staying at a hotel while I am in the Central Illinois area, Blessings will be my home away from home! I already booked 2 more stay
