Los Mariachis

Dined in and food was very good, good sized portions too. however the reason for only three stars is I ordered a chips and queso to-go to bring home for my boyfriend and they gave me this nacho cheese that wasn’t even edible the taste was awful and the chips were extremely stale and not to mention very soggy from the cheese. They did give me salsa with my to-go order but it was very watery and nothing like the one we had when we dined in.

We found Los Mariachis via google search and because of the positive reviews we dined here. The restaurant was clean and staff polite and professional. We started with nacho supreme with spicy pork on the side because my wife is a vegetarian. The cheese and guacamole were great. My wife had the vegetarian burrito that she mentioned had a lot of flavor and stuffed. I had the chicken and beef fajitas that had a lot of flavor. My strawberry Margarita that was delicious. If you are in the area and want delicious Mexican food we can highly recommend Los Mariachis.

Margaritas and the drinks are probably the best thing they offer! Food is okay and the price for the quality of food doesn’t equal out. Chips with HOT HOT sauce and cilantro sauce was given upon arrival, not your typical “salsa”. Nachos and cheese/jalapeños didn’t taste authentic. Ordered the steak and chicken fajitas with peppers and onions, however I only received about 4-5 pieces of meat and the steak wasn’t as expected quality. The steak tacos with rice and beans were good. Outside patio with TVs and shaded seated picnic tables. Server was okay, not down your throat like most servers, but when I needed something, never to be found. Overall experience was great, but I think I’ll stick to the bar! 🍸🍸🍻

wallingford has so many taco spots and this has always been ground zero for me. great margs, too! happy to always support them whenever i don’t feel like cooking!

I was craving a shrimp burrito and this didn’t disappoint! I was a little taken back by the $22 price tag with no side but the burrito itself is massive and can be eaten as multiple meals. The shrimp were great, and there was a lotttt of rice filling. The green sauce it came with was fantastic!
