Los Bravos Mexican Restaurant Brookhaven

This is by far the best Mexican food in the Brookhaven area. The servers, ALL of them are so so sweet and kind. The food was phenomenal. The decor was perfect. We will be back every weekend. The servers especially are amazing… shout out to this gentleman in the photo for being so sweet with my kids!!

Drivers Beware. Had two orders to pick up at this location, the first order was initially already ready. However, the second order wasn’t ready and had a wait time. I talked with the server (in blue) who said they’re going to the back to check and see the order was ready. As I watch him go to the back, then followed up checking on his tables, he proceeds to talk to the guy (in all black) which he came back and to me it was his manager that he would check on the order. I asked the guy (in blue) as a server the kitchen doesn’t communicate to you how long the order would be or give an estimate? He told me they don’t but the manager will check. It's a great location with decent food and good service. We all had different dishes. I enjoyed my steak tacos and Chile relleno. The skinny margarita was okay - a little watery at the end.

I never leave bad reviews but I had to this time. This was the worst Mexican food we have ever had. We ordered on Uber eats. What showed up looked like slop. I ordered the burrito, Taco beans and Rice combo. What I got was Brown soup for beans and somehow a taco and Burrito that was somehow soaking wet and soggy disgusting filth. The carne asada was shoe leather. Even the queso looked like it was weeks old. Clumps and a solid crust. Absolutely disgusting!!!

We fully enjoyed our lunch here!!! First impression in the door was this place is very clean, staff is friendly, and it smelled wonderful. Really quick service, delicious food. Great salsas, loved the salsas. Very reasonable prices and portions were generous. Definitely will be back. This place felt new or recently renovated and I wouldn’t count on old reviews to be accurate.
