Log Cabin Inn Kenai

Our stay at the Log Cabin Inn, was the highlight of our Alaskan trip. Every clean and the service was beyond excellent. Teresa made us feel at home and was a very knowledgeable hostess. We were there for the fishing and she made sure that we hit the rivers with an excellent breakfast and very good lunches. We returned from fishing to a clean and inviting lodge with plenty of amenities. I highly recommend this rural and picturesque lodge.

The Log Cabin Inn was a great stop two night stop on our tour of the Kenai Peninsula. It is an authentic fishing lodge that is a friendly, comfortable Alaska family operated B&B. ||The building is a decades old, authentic log structure, beautifully built and classically designed. It brought to my mind Old Faithful Lodge in Yellowstone. Sitting atop a hill, the Inn has great views of the Kenai River flats in the distance, and overlooks a beaver pond & lodge. My sister awoke to see a baby moose having breakfast below her window||We stayed in the two rooms on the top floor. My wife and I in one room and my sister in the other. I live in AK and stayed here with my children to attend a state-wide swim meet. The hostess, Teresa, was amazing: kind, accommodating (and forgiving, when one of my children accidentally broke her lampshade). I would liken my experience to visiting a local Kenai friend and staying in her wonderful home. It is a beautiful Bed and Breakfast and on winter nights, you can see the Aurora Borealis to the north (you have to know what you are looking for). The complimentary breakfast was delicious and Teresa had cereal available for non-adventurous kids. She also had board games and toys available for my children to play with. We needed a place to stay for one night in the Soldotna area, so we found the Log Cabin Inn online. We got in last minute so we were grateful to have a room. The accommodations were fine. It felt like a room in someone's house in the basement, but the bed was comfortable and we slept well. The owner Teresa was VERY nice and so were her kids. She served a hot breakfast that was a great start to our day. We did not take advantage of any of the guide services, but there were other's there that did and they said it was great fishing. I would recommend it.

I stayed at the Log Cabin Inn while in town for my friend's wedding. The whole bed and breakfast was filled with friends and family who had flown in for the wedding weekend. Theresa was so welcoming and the inn was so inviting after our long flight and drive into town. It is situated near the Kenai River and it has a spectacular view of the river and wildlife from the huge two story windows. Our breakfasts in the morning were wonderful and Theresa and her kids were a delight to talk to. I highly recommend visiting them!
