Ooakzen

My family and I are visiting from Pennsylvania and I’m a barista at a specialty coffee shop. Finding a good coffee fix up here is hard because normally everything is loaded with sugar and they don’t pay attention to the espresso. I stumbled upon this shop while browsing on Google maps and figured I’ll give it a try. I wish I found it earlier in my trip because I went back almost every day. The food was amazing, everything was fresh and light. The ingredients were very high quality. The bread on the sandwiches was so good, we had a loaf made for us to take home. Every drink we had was beyond excellent. You can tell the barista put lots of love into making them. The espresso was dialed in, and tasted great in an americano. Their syrups were made in house, which always makes a drink taste 1

I just found this amazing little cafe in Kenai! their food is so delicious and even better, it’s all healthy! The atmosphere is simple yet sweet, I love all the natural lighting. The chef there is amazing and cares so much about the food she puts out and you can tell. Amazing people, amazing food, and an amazing place. My new regular!!

Incredibly clean and well laid out space. Pictures appear to be from a prior location? Good was great, even talked about how everything was combined to make a wonderful sandwich. None of the components had to be fought. Everything felt as if it wanted to go bite by bite. Drinks were familiar yet unique. And of course staff appeared to be having wonderful time, had great conversation, recommendation. Doesn't hurt my feelings they are reducing single use items.

Loved Ooakzen Cafe! The menu is healthy and fresh. My husband’s hot chicken sandwich and my avocado toast were both delicious. Their drinks are amazing, perfectly balanced, and not overly sweet. You can really taste the quality since everything is made in-house, including the oat milk and the drink syrups. So happy to finally find a spot like this in Kenai/Soldotna!

Currently enjoying a delicious meal at Ooakzen Café & Lounge. Servers were a delight, atmosphere is calm, relaxing and well lit. The food is refreshing and different from the norm for kenai area. Will definitely be back again soon!
