I’ve been here now twice. The first time I was in a bit of a rush and placed an order to go. The chicken pot pie soup was TO DIE FOR! My daughter has had Mac & cheese both times. It is creamy and delicious. Today, I had the chicken tacos that were very good and tasted so fresh! I love the cozy home kitchen feel to the dining area! There is a little toy cart for kiddos to explore, which my daughter also loves. The friendly service is a cherry on top! Cannot recommend enough!

Cool place set up here in Kenai. How does no one know about it? Advertising. The sign is smaller than it's neighbor's signs, and the font of more fine. The front is located out of view from the main road. If I were to suggest a positive change it would be to become more visible to the public, post hours of operation, and use a rotating menu as an incredible selling point. Atmosphere: very well done with the clean and simple decor. It was well lit and felt comfortable. Service: excellent as the owner greeted us and seemed to be on first named basis with the regulars. The other employee was kind and welcoming. Loved to hear their camaraderie in the kitchen as it added to a relaxed vibe. Food: well put together with fresh ingredients. Here in the peninsula we seem to lack a variety of cuisine

Locals and tourists do not miss The Hearth Eatery centrally located in Kenai, Alaska on the Kenai Peninsula. The hip and calming interior is wonderful and spacious. The food is delectable and the menu changing sometimes weekly is awesome and rarely happens in restaurants. I am a pescatarian so on Chef Virginia's suggestion I had a lovely salad made with locally grown fresh vegetables. Smoked Gouda cheese, candied pecans with herb dressing. Froccia bread was made fresh today with a brownie cookie. Well done Chef +7⭐️ Holla

Virginia is an amazing hostess, compassionate about her food, and a lovely person who can cook like no other! Fully recommend trying her restaurant the next time you are out and about.

I love a good soup and salad. I've never even tried anything else because their soups are so flavorful, and there salads to go are amazing, and always taste fresh. Very friendly staff, and it's obvious that the owner and cook knows food. I love it. Please eat here so they never close.
