L&L Hawaiian Barbecue

We always stop at L&L when we come to Hawaii! I enjoy getting the chicken katsu or the grilled shrimp. I usually do not like macaroni salad but they make a really tasty one!! My fiancé loves the pork lau lau.

If you want cheap and easy local food this is the place to pick. Wasn’t expecting much based on how it looked, but if you have a buzz and you want some good comfort food the loco moco is legit!

They left the paper portion white cup in my rice and covered it in sauce not sure what idiot did that. But won’t be coming here again.

The food was OK, we got the BBQ chicken plate, it was cheap but the chicken wasn't very great and the mac salad had kind of an odd flavor to it. The boba on the other hand was pretty good, very sweet. We got the taro/coconut flavor which I would recommend.

This is an awesome local chain of Hawaiian fusion food. Their Saimin burger is my go to since it is unique to here and a few other places, but the Kalua Pork + Cabbage and Shrimp Tempura meals are also incredible, especially considering the price and large quantities. Also can’t go wrong with their spam musubi.
