Customer Reviews
We really enjoyed our dinner. The Manchester egg was our favorite starter. The desserts are not to be missed, they were actually our favorite part of the meal. The lamb neck pie was good but really needed some kind of acid element like a mint sauce to make it pop.
Nice restaurant in Ballard…really liked their decor and they have a new private dining space in the back as well. Came for an early dinner and service was great. Ordered a few of their well-known dishes like chicharrones, scotched egg, and lamb neck korma meat pie. Wish I had more appetite to try their steaks but I do want to come back for their Sunday roast.
Love this place in Ballard there’s really not a whole lot of restaurants like this in the Seattle area. Every single dish is something fun and new to try. I have to come back for recommendations from the staff on other dishes to get. definitely recommend getting reservations as they can get quite busy.
We came for a Sunday roast meal. Also ordered a scotch egg and the rabbit rillette. Everything was amazing, the rabbit rillette was phenomenal. The roast beef was cooked perfectly and tender.. delicious cabbage and peas and peppery brown gravy. Highly recommend.
Solid choice. Would definitely come back to try their other roast pork belly. Went on a Sunday early evening 17:30 with a reservation. Their old fashioned was very smooth. As not a big whiskey guy, this was very good. I would even order it for myself next time. Scorched eggs were a very good choice. Would recommend. Great crunch and not dry. Main dish was the roast loin of beef. The gravy was the star of the dish. Adds plenty of flavor. The Yorkshire pudding had not much flavor. You have to make sure you get the gravy all over to get taste. Dessert was also good. Not dry and looked beautiful. Great way to finish the mea.
