We just can't say enough good things about our visit at the Linden Historic Bed and Breakfast! It had always been a desire of ours to stay in such a place and the Linden did not disappoint! Our room was spacious and beautiful. The bed linens, bath towels and toiletries were top notch! Breakfasts were delicious and portions were perfect. The grits were the best we've had in years! All the staff were helpful and friendly and went out of their way to make sure our stay was enjoyable. We would definitely recommend the Linden and can't wait to go back!

We stayed in cottage 1 at the Linden with our friends from the coast. Everything was spectacular! The cottage beds were so comfy and the details to amenities were perfect. Breakfast at the main house was exquisite and so fabulous. Getting to experience the Linden during the weekend of the inaugural Capital River Region Songwriters Festival weekend was a memory we will cherish always. We will be back! Thank you all for hospitality.

There doesn’t appear to be anyone working at this place, aside from the two very nice people who prepared and served breakfast. My room key was left on a table in an envelope, incorrectly addressed. There was no indication of where my room was located. The room itself was tiny and overstuffed with large and mostly not terribly useful furniture. Instructions for the TV were inaccurate. If you called the phone number they left if you needed information or assistance, it went straight to voicemail and no one returned your call. All in all, my stay at this plantation— that’s what it was—was interesting. I would not go back there.

Our family enjoyed a lovely, peaceful stay at Linden where the town's laid-back charm and way of life was reflected in the home. ||Pulling up to the house it is difficult to not be impressed with Linden's immaculate and classic antebellum era architecture and grounds. Inside, the home is carefully decorated with period era furnishings which, while older and more museum-like downstairs, feel more boutique within the bedrooms which are spacious and homely.||Sharing the breakfast table with fellow guests and exchanging anecdotes and tips was enjoyable and the ample outdoor space and seating provided a nice option for relaxing in the afternoon having explored the town.||We didn't take an official tour of the home - so I may be overlooking this - but it would be good to display some historic in
