Lilikoi Bar and Grill

Chill vibes. Arrived too late to try the famous french toast (late breakfast ends at 1pm) so we had the Lilikoi Daquiri, Lilikoi burger with onion rings, Paradise Heat burger with fries and the Ube Cheesecake. Everything was well executed though my hubby prefers his burger cooked on the medium side. Special shout out to T.J. who was super attentive and welcoming. He made really good recommendations and brought food out quickly. Gotta take a moment for the Ube cheesecake, Creme Brûlée, and Lilikoi cheesecake which I thoroughly enjoyed in that order. My hubby who considers himself a cheesecake connoisseur raved about the Ube. It was perfectly balanced and smooth. He isn’t necessarily a fan of crème brûlée but said this was the best he’s ever had.

Rain-Chased and Well-Fed at Lilikoi Bar & Grill After spending the day being aggressively pursued by rain clouds up and down the coast of Kauai, we waved the white flag and called for a late dinner close to the condo. Enter Lilikoi Bar & Grill, a place brave enough to host one committed meat eater and three dedicated vegetarians at the same table. A bold move. A successful one. The open-air dining room was breezy, relaxed, and exactly what you want after a day of damp flip-flops and soggy plans. The restaurant manager, who appeared to be heroically covering for a server who called off, was an absolute delight. We had a great time here, and a big reason was our server, Juan. He was super friendly and really attentive without being overbearing. He checked in at just the right moments and gave us some solid recommendations that we actually loved. You can tell he genuinely cares about the guests and not just doing his job. He definitely made our meal better.

The best pineapple, bacon burger I’ve had forever in my life! Juan was our server with his excellent smile and his relaxing vibes. It made us feel at home in Hawaii. Thank you for the recommendations for the beaches in the local spots as well. Juan was most excellent with this information Mahalo!

Had two drinks and the vegetarian nachos — super easy option with black beans and plenty of flavor. Great service and lots of TVs for football. Sat at the bar and everything was fast, friendly, and good. Kudos to the bartender!
