Christie was super kind to us, as was her staff. The girls behind the counter took good care of us and Christie was attentive to my 4 yr old daughter’s interest in the fish on ice and she gave us a sneak peek at the Ahi in the ice box they caught. Super cool to see that! It was easy to eat there since they have two benches there.

We have friends who work here and have told us how good this is for awhile. Finally was here without plans and was able to come here! Great decision! Its mainly a poke, fish and plate lunch place. They have pre-made grab and go bento boxes available, fish for sale, and a large counter of poke and other cold foods. They also have hot plate lunch specials daily. When I arrived, I think I was the only non local person here. Many construction workers eating outside and a lot of office workers were inside in line on lunch break. They have a large selection of pokes and a good selection for plate lunch. My wife had a poke bowl with rice and salad, shoyu ahi with crispy onions, and other toppings. First thing we did when got off the plane was go here for lunch. This not just a market but a hidden gem that many of the locals love and frequent often. You do see a few tourists here but they are the exception not the norm. When you get a lunch special they pile a pound or two of food into your box and you will not go hungry along with whoever you are sharing it with. If the lunch specials are not to your taste, then start trying their Poke which is the freshest on the island. They give free samples to find the one or more that fits your taste. It is a locally owned family fish market that just happens to serve food. No seating inside, just picnic tables outside with umbrellas. As always watch out for the chickens they are sneaky. This was a great spot to grab lunch in Līhu’e. They have both prepared food packs and a counter order poke bar. My bf ordered the smoked mackerel and really liked that. I went with the tofu and shiitake mushrooms. Great portions for the price. Beware of the ube crinkle cookies- I ate one and couldn’t stop eating them until the whole package was gone!

Great selections of poke. You can get lau lau and cooked plate food here too. I even saw premade spam masubi and some desserts. Everything was good except the kimchi tako. It was wayyyy too salty.
