Uncle D's Kauai

What a wonderful find Uncle D’s was for us? We walked into town from our ship and ran into this amazing little place tucked into a mini-mall of small independent businesses. We had both the pulled pork and the brisket, and got ours served in a unique way to us: on a “macaroni boat.” All three were excellent! The portions are more than ample, such that we had a hard time making much of a dent in the macaroni after eating the delicious meat topping. I highly recommend this place if you’re looking for “lunch in town” during your cruise stop in Kauai. This BBQ beats the pants off anything you’d have had on the ship, I guarantee it!

I can't believe it's taken me so long to come here. What an eclectic shop. Disc golf supplies, craft beer, and bbq. Their beer selection is insane. Over 130 different types! Needless to say, we left with quite a few to try. The bbq was also amazing. My favorite was the pulled pork sandwich and Mac and cheese. We also had the brisket Philly with Mac salad and coleslaw. All of it was amazing. Uncle D is pretty rad too. Highly recommend checking them out.

Was on the cruise ship and was looking for a great place to eat, specifically a place where the local population eats at and I found Uncle Ds. Excellent food, by far the best pulled pork sandwich I have ever had. We added a side of their world famous baked beans. Wow, absolutely an outstanding meal. This is a must go to place when you are in the area. When we come back this is the first place I will go to for lunch.

Do not miss out on this absolute gem of a BBQ delight at Uncle D's! What a wonderful experience! Truly some of the most incredible BBQ we've tasted in our 5 decades on this beautiful earth. My wife ordered the Mac & Cheese Boat with bbq'd brisket. Wow!!!! Deliciously rich and oh so satisfying! I had to go with brisket sandwich and it was remarkable in every way. I would judge any bbq brisket with this exceptional delicacy as the gold standard. We had the baked beans as a side and absolutely spot on for flavor and so dang yummy 😋. The beer selection rounded out one of the best meals we've ever enjoyed on the Hawaiian Islands. Definitely some of the most delicious BBQ we've ever tasted. We got mac and cheese plate with different proteins. My wife got a jack fruit and I got smoked chopped brisket. We got the bowl spicy. It is out of this world experience and I never had this kind of mac and cheese before.
