License to Chill Bar & Grill

We had a wonderful stay this weekend at Margaritaville Fort Myers, and a big part of that experience was thanks to Bennett at License to Chill. From the moment we sat down, he was incredibly attentive, friendly, and professional. What really stood out was his attention to detail. My wife has a pretty long list of drinks she likes each morning, and Bennett remembered our order perfectly every time without us even needing to repeat it. That level of service and memory was genuinely impressive and made us feel like valued guests. Bennett’s positive attitude and consistent service made our mornings something we genuinely looked forward to. The pina coladas were very good here. We got the grouper bites and they were ok - tasty but very thin. They have fans everywhere so you’re never really hot here. The view is unbeatable. It’s nice to be elevated above fort Myers beach and be able to see everything. They could’ve kept up better with cleaning up after people who were done eating and left. We couldn’t sit facing the beach because the bar counters had dirty plates even though the chairs were empty.

They used to give you much larger size frozen drinks for 14 bucks. They suddenly became stingy towards the end of 2025. Dinky sized drinks. If you're going to charge the customer a lot of money, give them a lot.

We stayed in Ft. Myers for 4 nights and ate at numerous recommended eateries, and JWB was our favorite! The view was spectacular (large windows with expansive views of nothing but the Gulf), our server Tony was excellent (friendly and attentive!), and the food was delicious (fresh, flavorful and presented beautifully!). After our meal we had a gorgeous sunset walk along the beach right behind the restaurant. 10 out of 10 recommend. We will definitely return! Thank you, Tony and chef, for a wonderful evening!

Good food, and beachy atmosphere, and our waitress Tonya was very cheerful! great experience! (I got the all American meal).
