Le Fevre Inn & Resort

I cannot say enough good things about Le Fevre Inn. Not only was it quiet, quaint, and welcoming, the staff were amazing. The wood burning fire place was PERFECT for our stay, especially as the temps were below 0. The bed was comfortable and the huge jetted tub was fantastic. The view was incredible and i wish it had been warm enough outside to enjoy it more. Due to the intense cold, our vehicle wouldn't start when we went to check out. After helping us try to jump start it with no luck, Alfredo at the front desk drove my husband to the store to get a new battery and allowed me to stay in the room until they returned. Talk about service! We were so grateful for his kindness. We will absolutely come back and tell our friends and family about our great experience!

Had a lovely and quiet time as we'd hoped for!||We stayed there the last three days in December 2025. We had a wonderful time. There was friendly and knowledgeable staff on duty when we arrived (Armando) who helped us pick a place for food delivery because we were tired and just wanted to cozy up by the fire on that VERY CHILLY evening. The resort is 5 minutes from downtown Galena which made it easy to venture off to the lovely shops during our stay. Unfortunately, many shops were closed as it was a holiday week but we did meet some shopkeepers and would visit again.||The accommodations were very clean and had everything we could want (and then some): from plenty of firewood for the fire to plenty of coffee packets for the coffee maker for 2 of us for 2 mornings. Very nice and friendly hotel. Beatiful views and convenient location. Within 5-10 minutes from mane attractions. No hot meals for breakfast, just toasted bagels. Also, fruits, juice, milk, cereal, oatmeal, yogurts, tea, coffee.

5 star accommodations and customer service. Alfredo and Ramona were very hospitable. The room was perfect as we stayed during a snow storm and we had everything we could need. A cozy wood fire place , a bed as soft as a cloud, beautiful views and to top it off a romantic hot tub with excellent water temperature as it didn’t lose hot water. The continental breakfast was excellent as well. Thank you we will definitely be coming back in the future.

So disappointed! This used to be our favorite place to stay. We even had our wedding here in 2024. There were some hiccups with that due to the owner double booking us with another couple. But we continued to come back. Unfortunately it has not kept up with the times. The WiFi is spotty and the TV’s are not smart tvs. They have DVD players but ours did not work. The carpet is old and dingy and there were black marks all over the walls of our room. Our fireplace was a smokey mess and the worst part of all was the cheap perfume smell from the towels and bedding. They never used to use any type of fragrances or anything for their linens and towels. I broke out in hives all over the first night and ended up sleeping on the couch with a blanket I had in our car. We were here for 2 nights so we
