La Taquiza Highland Park

Been stopping in pretty regularly. Huge menu, surprisingly so for a small store front. Thus far everything good. Love the California burrito and the birria tacos. Today I tried the Cubana torta and wow. It was amazing. Perfectly crisp chicken milanesa, with a thick slice of ham and a fried egg … sour cream, guacamole. For me no beans. Didn’t need it. Delicious. Reasonable prices. Efficient service and friendly.

Great Mexican option. Prices are reasonable, service was fast. Only seats approx 12 but does a lot of 'to go'.

Was my second visit, brought some friends and the owner was there and she was thrilled to have us in on her birthday and the staff was helpful! Service was fantastic and the Birria tacos were off the charts, the most flavorful I’ve had in the northern burbs!! The consommé was, chefs kiss perfect and we poured on our rice for more flavor! Enjoy and support this local family owned business!

I loved the food! They gave me a huge tub of the juice for my Birria tacos. Delicious. Very quiet there. Yummy I would go back. Best Guac I ever had
