Our first visit after a friend recommended we go. We parked in the public parking near by and walked to entrance, look for the Mexican flag as the entrance is in the alley between buildings. It was very crowded there was a large group dining which seemed to have set the kitchen behind but we had chips and salsa with some margaritas to hold us by. We were able to sit outside too as it was hot indoors, we arrived by 6, earned meals by 7 so not terrible considering plus our server kept. He king and apologized for delay. The food was worth the wait, even had some left over to take home. My husband thought the enchiladas were too crunchy but I didn’t mind, added some extra salsa and the inside was not overcooked, I really enjoyed my meal and plan to go back. I may suggest we go earlier to see
We came around 7:30 for dinner and sat at the bar. They seemed moderately busy with two open tables and a large party waiting to be seated. We waited about 10 mins for the girl at the bar to finally give us menus. The bar was covered in food and she put the menus right on top of lettuce and salsa. We asked for the bar to be cleaned and she was apologetic but disappeared for another 5 minutes in the back to get a rag and cleaner. There were 3 or 4 wait staff milling around unefficiently. The bartender would often leave the bar to bring table service or drinks to the tables who were seated. I saw no other wait staff making drinks. About 20 minutes into our wait she came over and asked for our order. She was very distracted and not even looking at us as she took the order. Again we saw her le
Outstanding authentic Mexican food. Salsa was delicious. Everything shown was a 10/10. Will be back.
Service here was great. They were able to immediately accommodate our group of eight. I very much enjoyed the pork chimichanga with a side of queso. It was a big portion, so I was satisfied with just the chimi and some chips with some of their award winning salsa. Margarita was good too, I just wish I would have sat at the bar swing while I enjoyed it.
We stopped in for an early dinner on a Saturday night without reservations. We were seated immediately but everyone coming in after us was asked if they had reservations. They were nearing full capacity within 20 minutes of our arrival. We like Mexican food and arrived with certain expectations. This may be just a regional thing but we didn't find the food to be very flavorful. That observation extends to the Margaritas as well. The service was fast friendly and very efficient. Not sure if we will go back though.
