Kokanee Inn

Fabulous in every way. Perfect location with amazing view. Super friendly vibe, very comfortable common areas and rooms. Cean, quality & functional furnishings. Food and coffee absolutely tip top. Madeline is a born host, felt like meeting someone I could easily spend time with. So cheerful and positive energy. Highly recommend!

Location was 5 minute walk into town and 5 minute drive to Wallowa Lake. We stayed in the Eagle Cap room for 3 nights which had its own bathroom, a king bed and two twin beds upstairs in the loft. Communication was efficient via text, the grounds were beautiful and the included breakfast was delicious. |The only downside was the tiny outdated bathroom that felt like an afterthought in comparison to the purposeful design presented throughout the lodging.

I generally don’t post reviews but I thought this might help the next person. We booked two nights in The Cabin. When we arrived we discovered that the room had only a double bed and very little space to get around the bed. My husband ended up sleeping on the couch. The ceilings were lower than normal, the floors slanted and the bath/shower was tiny. The sink unit was in the bedroom next to the bed. We talked with Madeleine and were offered other rooms but all of them shared a bath. We agreed to stay one night and cancel the second. This was a very uncomfortable room, billed as sleeping 2 people and recently remodeled. Overall, we were not comfortable in this particular unit and would not recommend it for a couple. Also, it did not deserve the deluxe rate we were charged which ended

Lovely small Inn that makes you feel like your at home with comfortable common areas both inside and outdoors where you can read a book or just have a nice conversation. Rooms were very comfortable. The bonus was having a wonderful fresh cooked breakfast in the morning.

This was a five star experience at a low key, cozy, wonderful place. The staff was cheerful and helpful and Madeline was prompt and caring with her responses. The breakfasts were delicious and plentiful. I highly recommend this Inn!
