Kohr Brothers Frozen Custard

Mentally, I am always at Kohr Brothers! I grew up with this amazing custard, and I’m never disappointed here. My favorite is their peanut butter custard with chocolate jimmies. You’ll definitely want to stop here when you’re in OCNJ!

One of the best soft serve frozen custards on the east coast. Prevalent in the Jersey shore area, mostly on boardwalks. This location, located along the boardwalk in Ocean City does not disappoint.

The best frozen custard I’ve ever had. The peanut butter and chocolate twist looks and tastes delicious. At the boardwalk price of $6/small after tax it’s still an iconic summer experience. There are a few Kohr Brothers along the boardwalk. Make sure you listen for pops as the staff dispense the ice cream and maybe consider one of the other locations if you care about the twist visual. It seemed like there were issues on different machines at different locations.

Their pumpkin custard is amazing, its plain pumpkin flavor with no spices and is great swirled with the cinnamon custard.

Terrific custard, always a treat! I especially love their vanilla and orange custard with jimmies. The wait staff is always friendly. My only problem is that the cost is sort of ridiculous - I live here and would like to indulge more regularly, but $6.25? Really? Well, at least it saves my waistline. And since I only get it as a rare treat, it makes the experience more special.
