The experience at King’s Chef Buffet was, to put it mildly, a roller coaster of disappointment. Now, the food itself had some redeeming qualities—let’s give credit where it’s due. The sushi was genuinely nice, and I was momentarily hopeful that this might be a pleasant meal. But the treatment of guests? That’s where the facade crumbled. As a brown individual, I keenly felt a disparity in how I was treated. I was never asked if I needed anything—no friendly check-ins, no thoughtful service. The moment of final insult came when a lady serving took my bill, assumed the rest was hers for a tip, and only after I directly asked for my change, dismissed it as "just a few dollars." Around the University of Central Missouri this place is so famous for lunch breakfast dinner for many people in the Warrensburg, Y because this is a buffet just for only $15 and 0 tax on the food. 🍱 I don’t know what the back end of this zero tax policy but they are serving very good food 🥘. I think I went there for four times , there is a small disadvantage while entering to enjoy is smell 👃, the smell is so bad due to those sushi 🍣 — I strictly suggest you to bring some Aroma 360 machine. I went here on a date with my boyfriend we are both teenagers and our waiter took advantage of that. we brought my parents as well. one of the real issues was is the waiter. the second my parent went to get food she was very rude. she scoffed everytime she had to take our plates from our tables. the whole time me nor my boyfriend were offered refills (our cups were empty) but my adult parents were. when we received our check it said $75 an some change which makes sense 18 per person no biggy. she watched as my boyfriend put his debit card on the tray and then snatched it away. she brought it back and made him sign the receipt which said $75 once again but refused to let us have a copy when she brought us the card back. after left we checked his bank statement and it was $91 dollars meaning

The food was hot. I love how they had their fried chicken covered. It made the chicken juicy. Sushi is amazing lots of sauces to choose from. Buffet has many many choices. Very full of people which was a great sign at 8pm on a Saturday. The food was very flavorful and tasty. Lost a star because the bathrooms are horrendous horrible and so very disgusting. This place is huge and the bathrooms were 3 Stalls and all dirty the floors were flooded from a leaky toilet and all three were out of toilet paper. . Huge setback on such a nice restaurant.

The manager here screams at their customers and lies about the restaurant's prices over the phone to lure you in. I was told that the lunch price ends at the 45 minute mark (i had called prior to showing up). We were charged dinner prices at lunch time and were told that we didn't know how to read "the signs that said that lunch price ends" (at the 30). There were no signs posted for the time and price change. The manager while yelling at our table (in front of everybody) refused to stand by her own word for lunch pricing, claiming that lunch now stops at the 30 minute mark. We showed up even before then.
