King Claw - Juicy Seafood & Bar

King Claw in Thomasville is hands down one of the best seafood spots around. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is welcoming and energetic, and the staff is friendly, attentive, and quick to make sure everything is perfect. The food is the real star here. The seafood boils are fresh, flavorful, and cooked just right. The seasoning is on point—rich, buttery, and packed with flavor without overpowering the seafood. Whether it’s crab legs, shrimp, crawfish, or sausage, every bite tastes fresh and satisfying. Portions are generous and definitely worth the price. Service was excellent—orders came out quickly, drinks stayed refilled, and the staff was happy to answer questions and make recommendations. The restaurant itself is clean, comfortable, and a great place to eat with friends

As I entered the restaurant it was early afternoon without crowds. The atmosphere was very pleasant with background music. I ordered the flounder with broccoli and hushpuppies . It didn't take long for my meal to arrive. The presentation looked good; however, the hushpuppies were very hard and the fish was tough and chewy. The broccoli was delicious!

I havent really had many issues with food but tonight was TERRIBLE. We had a bigger party of roughly 20 people, which can be difficult to work around at times but there were only a couple other tables taken in the restaurant. The restaurant smelt like straight sewage the entire time, and no it wasn't coming from the bathroom either because the bathroom smelt like urine. It took over an hour for our food to get brought out and our waitress was nowhere to be found throughout 85% of our experience. Extremely disappointed, especially while having to pay a mandatory 18% gratuity.

I've been here a few times so far during my trip to Thomasville. Each and every time the food was fantastic, service was phenomenal, and it is reasonably priced. If you live in the area or are passing through, I definitely recommend giving these guys a shot. Will definitely be stopping by one more time before heading back home.

Great place for enjoying southern boil. Absolutely enjoyed it. I really loved the ambience and the decor of the restaurant. It's amazingly clean and looks great. Our host was really sweet. We ordered the half pound shrimp(headless) boil and a chicken tender basket, with onion rings. The menu stated that we could substitute the sides in the chicken tender basket but I was charged extra for the onion rings. Maybe I read the menu wrong, but that's alright. The shrimp boil was amazing. The cajun seasoning was just awesome. The potatoes tasted amazing. The shrimp were big and juicy. I could taste the garlic, butter, the lemon and all the goodness of the boil. It was great. The chicken tenders were great too. They were a little dry to my preference but the flavors were great.
