Kei Cafe

If you’re anywhere near Kure Beach, Kei Café is an absolute must-stop. My wife and I split our time between Raleigh and Carolina Beach, and no matter where we are, our mornings always start the same way with 5 miles together, and halfway through we stop at this little coffee van that has become one of our favorite parts of the day. Timo, the owner, greets us every single morning with a smile and truly phenomenal customer service. He knows our order by heart! My wife gets her hot Teddy Graham cappuccino (iced in the summer), and let me tell you, she is very picky about her coffee. She usually makes her own daily when we’re in Raleigh, so that says a lot. Hands down, this is the best specialty coffee on the island. ( also the best priced) There’s just something special about grabbing coffe

Loved our visit to Kei Cafe. This is a wonderful little coffee stand. The available menu is very simple with only a couple of signature drinks. My only suggestion to the owner would be to have a listing of flavors that are available. He was very friendly and seems to be dedicated to his work and the art of coffee, he shared that he has been doing this for about a year. I tried the teddy graham and it was delicious, I would absolutely recommend this coffee stand/truck! I feel like this is offers a true, simply coffee experience. Additionally, I also visited the competition about a block away and can say that Kei Cafe offers the superior experience with taste, service, and atmosphere.

Spent some time talking to Tim this morning while sipping on his coffee by the beach, what a great view. Amazing cup of coffee, great conversation. Tim's attention to detail is impressive and his passion for the brewing process is unmatched. Strong recommendation!

1000/10 the teddy gram latte was one of the best I’ve ever had. Tim is a true artisan and puts so much care into every aspect of his creations! Absolutely delicious, we might have to come back to Kure Beach just for this coffee.

My wife and I have been going to the Kei Cafe since the first day it opened, and we can confidently say it is the best coffee experience we’ve had in town. Amazing quality beans, beyond stellar customer experience and you just can’t bet the location. We recommended Tim and the Kei Cafe to everyone we meet!
