Happy Hippies Java Hut

This is such a cute little coffee shop! I appreciated that they had a lot of non-coffee/caffeine options as well. We stopped in mid day to cool off from the beach, my partner got the Riptide and I got the Blueberry Lavender lemonade. Both were so good, the riptide was a nice cold brew option for him as the mermaid was good but he wanted a bit less of the flavorings. My lemonade was divine in the heat, a perfect balance of the lavender and blueberry/lemonade flavors without being overly sweet. The staff were friendly, helpful and kind. The shop itself is quirky, cute and clean!

I came to try a coffee while visiting the beach. First I was greeted with the lack of parking and exorbitant fee to park. Next I was greeted by a sign that read only 6 customers are allowed in at a time "to protect the vibes". The menu does have a wide selection to choose from. We tried the Blackbeard's Booty and Viva La Mocha. The drinks were good and I wouldn't mind having the same order again but I would rather not visit the store again. The environment was very loud and overwhelming. It was very bright and there was a lot of different noises going on. There was a massive cat behind the counter laying in the floor. I would have liked to pet him but also curious about state rules regarding having an in-store pet at a location selling food. Staff was not rude but also not very friendly- t

Nice little shop that offers amazing choices! Best frozen hot chocolates i’ve ever tried! Staff is considerate and nice! Nice selection of little souvenirs too! Definitely recommend trying!

The outside art of the cafe caught our eyes as we walked past it, therefore, we wanted to try it out! Their menu has many options, ranging from cold brews, signature lattes, classic coffees, and blended drinks. The ladies who works here are very kind, friendly, and helpful. I ordered the beach bum, which is a mix of lavender and white mocha, with lavender flavored cold foam. It is such a great mix, especially for those with a sweet tooth! My friend ordered the beach comber, which is coffee with sweet condensed milk, with chocolate cold foam. It tastes like a hot chocolate. We definitely enjoy it here and will come back when we visit :)

my first time stopping in after admiring the exterior for years and i absolutely loved it! i am not a huge coffee person but i am a huge hippie so i got the frozen hot chocolate and it was DELICIOUS! my boyfriend got mermaid magic and loved it 🧜🏼‍♀️ we of course had to get a cute sticker to rep on my car as well! we will be back for sure when we we come back to kure beach 💗🫶🏻
