Kansas Inn Independence

I gave it a 5 rating because it is about as good of an experience one could have for $65 a night. Yes it’s oldish, but it was very clean and the beds were comfortable enough. It exceeded most of my experiences with other motels/hotels charging $120/night.

I am giving a one star review due to the fact that I was so excited that they had a smoking room. You don't see those anymore . The blanket had burn holes when we got there and I didn't complain cause it was cheap but after we left he called and charged me for the blanket that had burns to begin with be safe don't get the smoking room it cost me $75 for a burnt blanket i didn't even get to keep

Stayed overnight, traveled with a boat, and was able to charge boat batteries from room.. only hotel in Independence, KS. were it was easy to charge batteries.. and staff made you feel welcomed

Very old motel not well kept. The room was non-smoking but smelled like smoke. Breakfast was continental at best. Cereal was stale and coffee was watered down. The pool was gross and dilapidated like the rest of the place. Any of the reviews that called this place pleasant were lies, don't listen.

Don't stay here they lie about how many people u have there and say u burn blankets and charge people.before they even call about it they should just close it down I stayed there I got accused of having all kinds of men there and burning blankets that was already burned u can stay there not even be seen or anything and they still lie
