Fish & Shrimp Diner

last night was my husband and I's first time at this place and the smell of the restaurant was absolutely amazing and felt really promising. when served our food it was really disappointing because my husband ordered the salmon special (big mistake) and was immediately met with issues and complications from the older lady waitress who was rude, difficult, and overall just not a good fit for customer service. he attempted to order the salmon special (which came with shrimp) with fries instead and no shrimp because of religious reasons and before even asking to clarify she stated that she "bets the cook won't do it" as if it were an inconvenience that we were requesting kosher food. she proceeded to ignore us and serve other tables that arrived after us, literally RUN around the restaurant w

Food was ok price not bad at all. SERVICE HORRIBLE!! If waitstaff would have smiled it would have cracked her face, never came to refill drink practically threw bill on table mid turn. Would have understood if the place was busy. No worries won’t go back!

The service was fast and good. The prices were very reasonable. The food was fabulous! Portions were very generous! We got the 4 piece fish, fried and it was so much hubby could not eat it all. I got the fried fish poboy and it was delicious! The fries were some of the best ever…crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. Everything arrived super hot and fresh to the table.

Went here after receiving poor service at Uncle Jack's Bar & Grill. This place was warm and friendly. The food was delicious! The Tribe Band and their wives will definitely return for good eats and wonderful service if we ever come back to Independence, KS. Just awesome!

I got the Philly cheese steak for the second time, it is so amazing good, not sure how you could make it better, only one disappointment, with a name like Fish and shrimp dinner, I would think you would have Fish and chips basket, a different type of fish like a cod and thick fries, just like they have in England. I think that would sell so good, I never cared for catfish, always tasted muddy to me. Thanks hope you consider a fish and chips on the menu. UPDATE: Found fish and chips in Fredonia, at Parrot 🦜 Eyes bar and grill. I will review soon...
