Journey Inn Bed & Breakfast

Our suite was clean and spacious. Our hosts were friendly and accommodating. The essentials from toiletry to beverages were thoughtfully provided. Really wanted to love the place, but... The furnishing was dated and there were surprisingly little surfaces in a big suite to put personally items on, the room was not warm (we were offered a space heater), the location was convenient but not charming, and the breakfast was just okay and far from what the "sample menus" on the website suggested. It's a nice inn but short of being special.

We just returned from a wonderful weekend Birthday trip at the Journey Inn. What a wonderful B&B! the rooms were beautiful, very clean and had everything that you could possibly want. Beds were comfy too.The breakfasts were sumptuous and served family style so great conversations could be had with your fellow guests. The atmosphere was casual and the outside foliage and landscapes were amazing. the staff and owner couldn't have been more helpful, recommending many places to visit and great restaurants. Thank you Valerie for a great weekend! We will be back.

We loved our stay at Journey Inn b&b! Nice friendly hosts and great breakfast with a coffee was served in the morning. It's right next to the Vanderbilt mansion and ~10 mins drive from CIA to enjoy the best culinary experience in town. We would love to stay here again next time when we are driving to the Upstate NY.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️|We just returned from a weekend stay at Journey Inn to celebrate my husband’s birthday, and it was absolutely perfect! The owners, Valerie and Eric, are incredibly gracious hosts whose top priority is their guests’ comfort. The breakfast was sumptuous—truly rivaling what you’d find at a 5-star restaurant. Everything was spotless, and the beds were exceptionally comfortable.||Even though some attractions were closed due to the federal government shutdown, Valerie, Eric, and their wonderful assistant Edna went above and beyond with excellent recommendations for local activities and restaurants. Their knowledge of the area made our stay even more enjoyable.||We can’t wait to return—highly recommend Journey Inn for anyone looking for a relaxing, welcoming getaway!

This was our first time staying at the Journey Inn but not the last! It was set back from the road yet right across from the Vanderbilt Estate and only 4 miles from FDR Museum (which was awesome!). We loved the Tuscany Room, so charming,although shower was small. There was no tv which was a nice change. Valerie was an amazing host and cooked up the most delicious breakfast...guerre cheese pie, berry compote with fage yogurt and muffin. We conversed with Valerie and other guests. So fun! We hope to visit again soon!
