American Bounty Restaurant

Visiting the Culinary Institute of America was a treat! The campus is beautiful and being able to observe the students at work was a great experience. We enjoyed the food, especially the Cod fritters were delightful. They did an excellent job with the food presentation. My only complaint with the food is there could have been more focus on layering the flavor profiles, not just the presentation. The service and atmosphere were top notch. Overall would recommend to anyone wanting a unique dining experience!

We came here to celebrate my husbands birthday. They customized a cake for him and brought it out at the end of our meal as well. It was a very beautiful experience. This place is a must visit, we are impressed with the students’ hospitality and the ambiance of the restaurant. The price for a three course lunch is also unbeatable. The food is on par with major star restaurants, dessert can be improved on. Look forward to returning again!

Knowing that students of the school are preparing and serving the food makes for an experience in which perfection is what they are working towards. Overall the staff were extremely friendly and efficient. My wife had the kimchi dumplings followed by a mushroom jambalaya and lastly the banana caramel for dessert. I had the oysters, the duck breast for my entree and the whiskey chocolate cake for desert. The oysters were delicious. The dumplings were tasty but the dumpling skin a little too thick. The duck was very good. The mushroom jambalaya wasn’t great. It had a bit of a sour aftertaste to it which we didn’t care for. Both desserts were good.

I had an incredible dinner at American Bounty. Thanks to my friend who is a CIA student, we were able to get the best seats in the house and tour the kitchen after we ate! Everything I had was exceptional! The oysters were extremely fresh, the duck entree paired with a glass of Chaos Theory red wine was amazing and lastly the Dulcey Bar dessert was the perfect ending to the night. The service and atmosphere was also fantastic. If you’re looking for somewhere to go for a special occasion I can’t recommend CIA Restaurants enough!

We had lunch at American Bounty. It’s a wonderful experience. The student wait staff is extremely polite and courteous. Food was delicious (shout out to the octopus appetizer, the trout and banana cream dessert). We had a wonderful time. Make sure to book the reservation in advance (it’s about a month away from the time of booking for us)
