Inn the Woods Bed & Breakfast

I had an incredible stay at this inn. It is far removed and surrounded by a gorgeous forest. The suite itself was cozy and filled with many things to occupy your time. There is a small kitchen with a microwave, sink, and small fridge if you are planning to stay for more than a day. Harry was a very kind and sweet host. He had a variety of breakfasts and was very respectful. Whenever we needed something, he was always there to help out. From omelettes to waffles, each breakfast was absolutely astonishing. The bird feeder outside was always a nice way to start my mornings. If I had the chance to stay anywhere in Hyde Park again, it would definitely be here.

We enjoyed our stay here very much! Harry was a very gracious host and the setting was very peaceful and relaxing. The breakfasts served were just outstanding! The bed was also very comfortable. We will be back!

We had a wonderful weekend stay at Inn the Woods. Harry greeted us warmly at check-in and made sure we had everything we needed. Our room was very comfortable and was a great home base to explore the area. Breakfast was the biggest highlight! We were so impressed by the care and detail that went into every element of the meal, and that nearly everything was homemade, from the pastries to the syrup that lightly dressed fresh fruit to the cheese in the omelets to the turkey sausage. We would definitely return for another stay the next time we're in the area.

We had a lovely stay at Inn the Woods. The room was very comfortable and the breakfasts were spectacular. Do not skip breakfast! I also really enjoyed sitting on the covered porch and watching birds at the bird feeder.

We had a lovely stay. The host was incredibly responsive. It was a spacious room with a comfortable bed. The view from the room has you feeling like you are in the tree tops. The breakfast was delicious. While eating we had the most wonderful view, out of the glorious floor-to-ceiling windows, of the birds at the birdfeeders: cardinals, striated woodpeckers, and more. The location is minutes from the Vanderbilt Estate, the FDR Library and home, and the Culinary Institute of America. Plus, it is an easy drive to Rhinebeck and other adventures. We hope to stay there again.
