Josie's Bed and Breakfast

I stay at Josie's every time I go to Newport and her hospitality is truly amazing. Her breakfasts are a joy to behold and her scramble eggs were delicious along with the Fritata which is her house specialty. The porches are perfect to enjoy the sunset and have a chat, with Josie often joining in to make you feel right at home. I would not stay at another B&B after staying with Josie and you will have an experience of a lifetime if you stay there. The location is phenomenal about ten minutes walk to Bellevue Avenue and also close to all the beaches. Josie is always there to greet you and answer any of your questions about Newport. Parking is never an issue with both onsite parking and plenty of parking on the street if you are visiting with friends.||Thanks Josie for being such a wonderful

We stayed at Josie's for two nights at the end of August-early September 2013 and everything was perfect. The room was large, very clean, the entire house is very clean and well maintained. other pluses: WIFI, you can use the kitchen if you need to cook something for yourself, Josie's breakfast is very tasty, the location is great, within walking distance to main attractions, parking is available in the back. And, of course, Josie is a wonderful, lovely person! We would stay again anytime we will go to Newport and highly recommend Josie's B&B!!!

I stayed at Josie's Bed & Breakfast last weekend with my husband and 11-year-old son. The location was easy to find and within walking distance of the downtown area as well as the beach and the Cliff Walk/mansion district. Josie was extremely accommodating and made arrangements for us to be able to get inside despite our late arrival. There is private parking behind the bed-and-breakfast, so it feels pretty secure. Josie's house is beautiful and well-kept, and very clean. It's accommodates a maximum of seven guests at a time, so it's perfect for those who want a more intimate environment. We stayed on the third level of the house, which was a converted attic with a private bath. I stayed two nights at this lovely B and B just a twenty minute walk to downtown and a quick drive to all the sights. Josie's breakfasts can't be beat with fresh fruit, frittata, fluffy pancakes and perfect coffee all served piping hot. I didn't need lunch after such a spread! The house is beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean, bright white Linens and towels, an array of soaps and shampoos if you forgot your own, hairdryer, most anything you might have forgotten. Josie is the perfect hostess with a wealth of information about the town and things to do, after over forty years living in Newport there isn't much she doesn't know! Old fashioned in that she accepts only cash and isn't a friend of computers and smart phones, but who cares when you have delightful conversation and a beau

We stayed here for two nights in late August 2013 and loved it. Our room was the entire 3rd floor of the house with a private bathroom & mini fridge so was very private & quiet. There was free parking in front & back of the house & also free WIFI which was great. Everything was very comfortable and clean and the surroundings were also wonderful. We were able to walk to the cliff walk/beach & downtown Newport restaurants & bars ad well. Breakfast was freshly cooked to order and delicious. Josie was the nicest, sweetest & most helpful hostess we could ask for. She made our stay in Newport even more special & I look forward to staying here again one day. Highly recommended!!!
