Customer Reviews
James Ranch Grill and Market is so charming! The staff were incredibly kind and friendly, and the farm to table meal was delicious. The views were breathtaking as well. Will definitely come back! The market has cute local handmade goods. I was even able to get a dear friend some beautiful earrings made my a local artist.
The place is incredible, it’s a ranch in the middle of the Rocky Mountains. They breed their own cattle so you can imagine how the beef tasted!! They specialize in burgers and chili. The Bison burger was really good.
We really enjoyed our experience here. There was live music while we were there. It is dog friendly, which was great for us. The view is gorgeous The burger was one of the best I've had in a long time. I'd give that an easy 9/10. I wanted the Succulent steak sandwich, but that was sold out. Hopefully you have better luck. The salads were delicious and fresh. The fries were good, but I prefer a thicker steak fry personally. Small deal. They were still good and well seasoned. Waits could be a little long for food, so be prepared if it's anything like we experienced. Getting a float took longer than the food. Oh, they were also out of Root Beer so I settled for a cola float.
Almost drove right by and glad we didn’t. What a serene and picturesque place! We bought their mature cheese, crackers and their kola float. Wow! Ate outside on their lawn with views of the mountains, cows and colors of the changing leaves in October. Perfect afternoon stop on our way back to Durango.
Was driving by and saw all the great reviews so my wife and I had to stop in. My wife got the signature burger and I got the mushroom burger. Plus we ordered their famous fries. Love that the food was farm to table and the ingredients were all natural. Not the best burgers we've had, but the market was great, the atmosphere was amazing, service was great, everyone was friendly, and their goat was super cool. Glad this place is here and when we're in the area will stop by again just to support local, plus there were some other food options that looked really good that we want to try next time.
