The rice we bought today was so terrible( spent sp much). I mean how can you cook a rice so soft and mushy almost like mashed potatoes. Foods needs consistency but I guess you guys dont care you just make the food because you feel people will buy anyways. I do not recommend this place at all.

Have ordered several times from here on Doordash and the food is pretty good and the portions are plentiful.

They offer a lunch special that includes two pieces of jerk chicken with rice and peas for $10, with sides priced separately. I ordered the two-piece jerk chicken lunch with rice and peas, along with two additional sides, bringing my total to $15. Unfortunately, my order was misheard at the counter and I was initially given a three-piece dinner with two sides, which raised the total to over $20 and required correction. After the order was fixed, the food I received was extremely disappointing. The jerk chicken was very dry, and the rice and peas were bland and noticeably under-seasoned. For food at this price point, the quality did not reflect the cost. Mistakes happen, but a corrected order should meet the same standard as any other customer’s meal. In this case, it did not. Been going to Jamaica Jamaica for 30 years. Same owner / chef in all that time. My wife and I can't get enough of the jerk chicken - they do it nice & spicy! I love to get it with some of the curry chicken gravy over rice & beans, great combo. Fried plantains are a must, too. Always take home a couple of dinners and some extra jerk chicken, which we can get 6 meals from from. Main reason for 4 stars is the food is not quite as consistent as it could be.

The best Jamaican spot in the area that I have been too. The staff is friendly, the owner does NOT skimp on the meat or portions (unlike some of the other Jamaican restaurants in the area). Great place. I usually go atleast 2-3 times a month.
