This is a nice burrito bar. It tastes like home cooked recipes that you would find in south west Texas. I've been to many small mom and pop Mexican places and this is a good one. I would recommend lunch time. It was not to busy and the service was fast and pleasant. If you are on the Kailua side definitely check this place out.

Jalapeños is by far my favorite restaurant on the island and easily the best Mexican food I’ve had in a long time! The service is excellent, they are all incredibly sweet. We’re huge fans of the bowls and the nachos, which are freshly made and homemade. Our favorite meats are the pastor and the spicy chicken. The portions are very generous, so you definitely get your money’s worth. The restaurant itself is spacious, clean, and has a great atmosphere. Service is quick, and even when it’s busy, there’s never a line. Don’t miss out on the horchata and jamaica, they’re amazing. Honestly, we’ve tried almost everything on the menu and everything is delicious! This is our go-to spot for Sunday lunch, without fail.

Stopped in for lunch after the beach and the food was so good! Fresh ingredients, everything made to order, delicious home made chips, and to top it off, as we were leaving, my husband dropped his cup of salsa on the road outside and had to throw it away. We got in our car to leave, and the nice old gentleman tapped on our window and gave us a brand new salsa :) Sweetest thing ever, and he had a huge smile on his face while handing it over :) Awesome family, great food, highly recommend :)
