Jack's Family Restaurant

Got dinner here this week after driving to Alabama from Texas. When we walked in the lady in the gray shirt (shift manager) told us that someone would be with us in just a minute. We waited for 5 more minutes, and finally the young girl walked in from outside smoking or whatever. The shift manager told her, "these people have been in here waiting on you for 5 minutes." -This showed a lack of team leadership and team management. The food was decent and they do have a health rating score of 95. Just from looking at the bathrooms and overall dining room, after ordering, this restaurant was FILTHY. I doubt they sweep, mop or scrub any of the floors regularly or weekly. There was nothing clean. There was urine scale and other stains on both toilets and urinals in the men's bathroom -the bathr

Jack's is newish in my area. Over the past few years I've been to about five different Jacks. This one is hands down the best. I often get breakfast before work and it's so quick. Even if the line is long it takes minutes to get your food and be on your way. I also cannot remember a single time my order was wrong. Finally, the food is so good. My favorite is the biscuits and gravy. I got some at the local bakery (where they're home made) and McDonald's so I could compare them. Jacks was my favorite of the three. When I heard Hardee's had closed I was really disappointed. That was for nothing, because Jacks is much better.

On a road trip from Dallas to Atlanta Looking for a local hamburger restaurant This is a store I visited by chance. The staff was friendly All the food was delicious too. The local residents were also friendly. I want to visit again when I pass by.

I love Jack's food, especially the milkshakes made from real ice cream. The chicken was tender and the fries were tasty. I wish there were locations in St. Louis, MO. My wife says they are only in 3 states (AL, MS, & GA).
