J & B's Country Store

We stopped at J&B’s on our way to Busch Gardens for a quick lunch. Great sandwiches! The kids said the turkey sub was “the best!” Planning to make this our regular stop for snacks and lunch whenever we are in the area.

This spot is an absolute must if you’re craving comfort food done right. The burnt ends are unreal—tender, smoky, and packed with flavor, with just the right amount of char. You can tell they’re cooked with patience and care. The Philly cheesesteaks are just as impressive: loaded with perfectly seasoned meat, melty cheese, and fresh bread that holds everything together without falling apart. Every bite hits exactly how a great cheesesteak should. On top of the food, the customer service is top-notch. The staff is friendly, welcoming, and genuinely cares about making sure you have a great experience, which just takes the whole meal to another level. Great food, great service—this place definitely deserves a repeat visit.

We always pass by and never had the time to stop.. we finally did for a late lunch, the place was really nice and warm with the Christmas decorations. We ordered the foot long tender torpedo that I shared with my mother and my husband ordered Poppo’s pulled pork sandwich all to go, they were generous, fresh and delicious! For my sweet tooth, I had a S’mores chocolate chip Cookie & oh! my! gosh! the best I’ve ever had and the cinnamon buns were out of this world! We really enjoyed it. I Highly recommend this place. the bakery goods are also amazing.

I am SO glad this little shop is back open again! I stopped Wednesday to grab a sandwich and it was great! I got "The Boot"! (No, I wasn't kicked out of the store!) I also picked up two Cinnamon Rolls from Division Bakery which were tremendous! I will be back. Taylor was very friendly, too! I love this place!

I saw a picture on here of the Bob Ross energy drink. We pulled off I-64 to stop in, purchase 2 cans (novelties) and enjoyed perusing the bakery shelves. The staff easily answered my questions about the history of the store and referred to the framed article on the wall. Very friendly, clean, great prices on products!
