IZAKAYA CABIN

Ive been here several times since moving to the valley and it has always been a lovely experience! The ambiance and vibes, the people and the food! Everything I have had from apps to sushi rolls has been so tasty! Definitely a gem in CB and stoked to check out happy hour ramen! Meant to do ramen during off season but never made it! And dangggg the mocktails are INCREDIBLE. Well done y’all 💕

We went tonight and made reservations for 6pm. Came in a little early (5:30) and they sat us down for us reservations at the sushi bar. And when I tell you this is the most interesting and entertaining experience ever I mean it. Especially the staff behind the Bar: Kyle, Andrew, and Ben. They answered all our questions and even let us take pictures. They were great but the food was EVEN BETTER. The Barcelona (which wasn’t on the menu at the time we order it but Kyle made it fresh) was to die for. When I tell you the quality of the meat and the freshness was unbelievable. Ben told us, as he filleted at least 50 pounds of Blue Fin Tuna, that this fish was swimming in the oceans surrounding Mexico no less than TWO DAYS AGO. Is beyond me. Had a fun meal, sat across from Ben and Ike who did great with our food. Great way to end the day, very solid sushi and fun combos. Really liked the Yuzu Dragon roll! 😭Though funny enough, kinda wish there was some wagyu fried rice available! Will be back!

Super fresh, excellent sushi. We opted for the fixed menu that was $65/pp. Awesome value. Loved every course. We were upstairs and it was quieter with some 2-person and longer tables. Downstairs is the bar and community seating. Was pretty busy there as we left at about 6PM on a Tuesday.

Great service, great ambience, and getting to sit at the sushi bar was so cool! The menu offerings were delicious, especially the mochi with miso honey butter. Definitely coming here again the next time I am in town.
