Island Hawaiian BBQ

I was shopping at Safeway and noticed the new business and decided to go check out the menu. After taking a look, decided to order the combo without the sides and make it carb free. The serving size was big enough for two people. It was tasty, I will be back to try the katsu, mochiko chicken and fish next time. I love spam musubi, too. The best spam so far is at Colors of Hawaii in Everett. The cashier was very nice, he let me have a complimentary bottle of unsweetened tea as a new customer. The order didn’t take too long of a wait. I could t wait to get home to eat it.

Came here for lunch after driving by this place multiple times. I've been looking for a good Hawaiian place because the others I've tried just weren't very good or had small portions. This place really packs the food enough for two meals! That is what I was looking for! Got the bbq mix combo with white rice and macaroni salad. The plate was delicious! Especially with the katsu sauce they have. They also had a free fountain drink with purchase as well! The food took a bit to come out which is great because you can hear the grill in the kitchen. Definitely will be back to try other combos!

What a find! Huge portions. Tasty dishes. I loved the Mac salad. The loco moco, the egg was a bit over done, but still hit the spot.

Very disappointed. I hate to leave a bad review but this was very hard choice to make. Considering I love my food very tastefully and well seasoned. Apparently this did not exceed my expectations and bummed out, I respect everyone that took their time to prepare this meal and I’m grateful for it. Portion sizes, perfect..but flavor wise was very bland and not well balanced. Family of 6, so we ordered, chef’s special (Spam, eggs and rice) spam not cooked all the way, it was literally straight out of a can and to the grill for 5 seconds and straight into platting, Mac salad very watery, bbq chicken was same, grilled for what looks like less then 30 seconds. Still looks like it was straight of the marinade sauce. Then the one thing we love the most is the Musubis, musubi was very dry, not enou
