Island Gecko Grill

When possible, we choose to support local establishments and this was a perfect choice. We were in the area on our sailboat and the Gecko Grill was an easy walk from the anchorage. Our server, Stephanie could not have been any more accommodating and friendly. Our orders came out quickly and the food was delicious. My husband had a cheeseburger and what looked like homemade chips-I snagged a couple-yum! My omelette was one of the best I've ever had and the side of fruit was great! Prices are very reasonable and we plan to stop by again sometime.

#77 I get asked frequently if there are any bad breakfast places. Honestly, there are very few and Island Gecko isn't one of them. While it's not a five star restaurant, it's a very good option in the area. My omelet was solid, the hash browns were so-so. Service was outstanding.

Krissy was amazing! She handled the entire floor like a pro! Food was quick hot and presentable! Clean table clean floor nice people in this place! Def will come back!

Great spot for Sunday breakfast. Place was busy and very friendly staff. We had an array of favorites and everything was good. Breakfast sandwiches, BLT and the country burrito. Yum. The grilled blueberry muffin was perfect, as was the hash…well done! Lots of coffee and great service too.

Solid breakfast and lunch spot in Merritt Island! Breakfast all day on Sun and breakfast and lunch all day every other day of the week. Lots of variety on both menus! The breakfast burrito is delicious (and huge!) and the Gecko Spots (tater tots) are hot and crispy! Their biscuits are some of the best in the area! Bright cheery atmosphere (despite the sad dying strip mall exterior), very friendly service, and definitely worth a stop if you are in the area!
