A solid spot if you're craving classic bar food done right. The hot wings are great, the garlic knots are addictive, and the pizza is consistently good. Drinks are well made and fairly priced. The bar area tends to get crowded, especially on weekends, but there’s usually enough seating if you look around. Overall, a reliable local hangout that keeps things simple and satisfying.

I called them on Saturday, 2/14, and asked for a reservation for 15 people. Our youth hockey team was playing nearby, and since Valentine's was shot due to our game, some families suggested a post-game dinner. While I was on the call with The Iron Horse staffer who checked if they could accommodate us, five more people said they wanted in. So, my party expanded to 20. The staffer said "No problem. See you at 8pm." Ninety minutes later, I called to update our numbers again, and we were up to 28. Ugh. The staff said, again, "No problem. See you at 8pm." A few more people heard of the gathering, so our total group was 32 people. With just a few hours notice. On a Saturday night. On Valentine's Day. Great local bar and restaurant! with amazing food and an even greater staff! the kind of place where you feel at home whether its your first visit or your hundredth. Andrew is amazing behind the bar. He never misses a beat! whether its mixing you the perfect cocktail or spotting your beer glass in need of a refill, if he's around you'll never find yourself waiting for a drink even on the busiest of days. he truly takes pride in his work and getting to know his customers. That being said All of the bartenders are incredibly talented and attentive! from Andrew and Aiden to Alissa, Casey And D just to name a few are some of the best I've ever seen, and that can be said for the entire staff! from the managers, to the chefs all the way down to the hostesses. I call this place the friendliest

Had great wings and sandwiches here. Every Wednesday is trivia night (requires reservations) and that's always a lot of fun. Our waitress Grace is great and took our orders quickly. Food came out well-cooked and delicious.

Nice busy pub downtown. 2 new Pinball tables, a jet ski, 4 racecars, dual darts and dual billiards. Service was nice, very friendly staff. People’s choice pizza has been reliably serving Simsbury for a while now. Now integrated with a full-service bar for a fresh new look. They are NOT BYOB
