Interlachen Public Library

Lovely local library. This place saved me a trip to work when my home internet went down - they had just what I needed (fast reliable internet, a place to charge my laptop, and a quiet space to work). I visited around 12pm and only about 2 people were in the library, excluding the 2 front desk staff (who were very friendly and accommodating!). The air conditioning is very nice as well so it's a nice spot to cool off while you're reading or using your laptop. They also have 1-hour loaner desktop computers for anyone with a library card and pay per page print services. The ladies' restroom was very clean and had everything in stock. The rest of the facility was also very organized and appeared super clean. Call ahead to ask about books they have or any other library services!

I went in for the first time last weekend and obtained my library card. I liked how friendly the staff was helping me to get it. It’s very clean and spacious. My kids really liked the kids section, to the point my youngest child didn’t want to leave. I would recommend this library to anyone .

My Updated Review today: Now anytime I go in there, there's one stall door open for everyone. The sign is still on the disability stall door! Those toilets are tough and don't have tops on them!! They should be able to flush down anything and both bathrooms should be open without a sign on any of the stalls unconditionally! That's been a very long grueling uncomfortable process & now I have to move and not come back because of other federal discriminatory entities harassing me! No wonder I have to be in court saving criminals all the time! Well No More! All of my children should've came first along with helping me get at least visitation with my children, well now I have to protest in court because of ongoing governmental ignorance!

I've never had a bad experience here! The staff is always so nice and helpful, it's always clean, and the internet is fast. The only downside is the kids who come across the road after school on weekdays; it wouldn't be so awful if they were coming to the library to read or work or relax, but most times they are rowdy and disrespectful to the property and staff.

I love the library! And the new operating manager is awesome she's done a wonderful job. Everyone in interlocking needs to go and take their children in especially now if they're bored Just a few at a time but she has some amazing things for them to see.
