Update: We just had dinner here under the new ownership and are still very pleased with their food. We had the pulled chicken & pork as well as a burger & fries. All were very good. Our cornbread was forgotten, so I can't voice an opinion about it. I met the owner and he was very friendly. They have added some outdoor seating under screened canopies. Tried this place for the 1st time and was very pleased with the service and the food. I ordered the pulled chicken and pulled pork sandwiches as well as a hamburger for my family. Everything was very good. It was right before closing, and I and a couple of other folks showed up to place to-go orders. Ordered online and picked up take out. We enjoyed the bbq and the Cole slaw too! Gotta go back and try the Church Tea, see if I can pick out the secret ingredient. Great option in Edenton.

New Inner Banks BBQ is well worth the wait. Sweet potatoes and cabbage just like my dad makes from Louisiana. I don't like pulled meat too much but the texture of the chicken and pork was just the right mix with the sauce. The ribs were... well that's all there is to say about that. You put in your own words of embellishment for those things. Haven't tried Mac and cheese or coleslaw yet but they are anything like the other foods I listed everyone in Edenton who hasn't tried this food is missing out. Big shout out to the owners.

100% Recommended these Ribs are off the chain I got a full rack . Everything is good there . Definitely good vibes friendly people and great prices 👍👍👍👍

Visiting from Ft. Liberty for a week in Edenton. We stopped at Inner Banks BBQ for breakfast. The fruit smoothies were delicious and the honey chicken biscuits were exceptional. I have visited 37 countries and 19 states tasting food from across the US and globe. I have eaten at 3 different Michelin restaurants and can say without question that Inner Banks BBQ has the best chicken biscuits ever. And the prices were great.
