Inn of the Shenandoah

We visited for my wife’s birthday and it could not have been better. The Inn is perfect with a very welcoming atmosphere! Janina, was the perfect hostess and went way above to make our visit perfect. She placed roses in the room, hung happy birthday signs at breakfast, and made my wife the perfect vegan breakfast. Our room was excellent, clean, and comfortable and included a private entrance if needed. We loved Luray and we loved our stay. The price was very competitive to other B&Bs in the area, but I doubt any of them can beat our experience! I cannot recommend this place highly enough. We will absolutely be back!!!

My boyfriend and I had the most wonderful stay at the inn. The host was delightful and charming. She greeted us and made us a wonderful breakfast the next morning. We both very much enjoyed talking to her, but she was also very accommodating and would step away to give us our privacy. The room and whole home are beautiful and quiet. We felt like we were in our own home, but better! The room had everything we could need and beautiful lighting and fireplace. This was our second stay in Luray and we plan to come back to explore more. Great coffee shop, stores, and restaurants. Will definitely visit again!

Our quick little getaway got a real boost in leisurely class with our stay here. Beautifully located at a high spot in downtown Luray, our room was a perfect extension of the vibe and energy of Luray. Our room was so comfy and cozy with complete privacy and freedom of movement. Centrally located for exploring the city, which is a fantastic place to spend a weekend, the Inn was a wonderful spot to spend the night and awaken to a delicious breakfast prepared by the host. Really started the day off with a smile and full belly. If visiting the Luray area, I highly recommend checking this Inn out.

We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful B&B. The owners Matthew and Janina were super sweet and very knowledgeable of the area. They recommended many places for us to explore. We visited Luray Caverns and Skyline Drive, did a few trails and took in all the gorgeous views. The house is just lovely and we enjoyed all the little touches, everything was perfect! I stayed at the Inn of the Shenandoah for a wedding, and the service I received was exceptional. Innkeeper Art had a homemade breakfast prepared every morning, even going as far as to ask me what my favorite type of quiche is, to ensure he could have that ready for me the next day. He provided helpful instructions on how to best get to the venue for the wedding, and provided lots of helpful literature for exploring nearby hiking trails. The rooms are quaint, cozy, and very comfortable. I would highly recommend staying at the Inn of the Shenandoah.
