il Casale Lexington

As we continued our tour of local and privately owned Italian restaurants, our adventures brought us to Il Casale. We made a reservation and the table was ready as soon as we got there. The hostess was friendly, attentive and asked us if we found parking ok! The server came over right away with water, bread and olive oil. The drink menu was creative and all the drinks were delicious. Appetizers arroncini is a must, calamari tasted fresh and the Ceasars salad was very good. They make their own dressing and its unique. The head chef, Abel, came over and introduced himself and answered a few questions. That hardly ever happens at many other restaurants. It made the restaurant feel more cozy and homey. il Casale Lexington is a standout Italian dining experience anchored by a truly spectacular atmosphere — warm, elegant, and authentically Italian in every detail. It's one of the most beautiful dining rooms around and sets the perfect mood from the moment you walk in. The food and service both deliver consistently at a high level, making for a well-rounded and memorable meal. A wonderful restaurant that fires on almost all cylinders.

First time coming here during the parade in Lexington. Service was amazing super attentive and helpful. Sat right away since it wasn’t that busy. The bread and oil were amazing to start with. Food took a bit but once it came out it flew off the table as well. Plates stood no chance, the pasta tasted fresh and the cutlets for the kids were made to perfection. Would definitely need to come back if we’re ever in Lexington.

The food was amazing and the staff was friendly and attentive. Best ravioli and tiramisu we’ve ever had and the drinks were delicious as well. Great job, il Casale!

Emanuel O. at il Casale was absolutely wonderful during our visit. He was so attentive and really made sure we had everything we needed without being intrusive. It's rare to find that level of service these days. The whole experience was genuinely lovely. We’ll definitely be back, and hope to see Emanuel again! Highly recommend.
